Requisition for additional AGM resolutions
The Board of Alliance Trust PLC (the "Company") hereby announces that on 16 March 2015 it received a requisition notice from Elliott Advisors (UK) Ltd., part of a New York based hedge fund, requiring the Company to put forward additional resolutions (detailed below) at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The Board will consider the resolutions in detail and advises shareholders to take no action at this time.

THAT Anthony Brooke be elected as a Director of the Company
THAT Peter Chambers be elected as a Director of the Company
