 held in treasury.

 Number of ordinary shares purchased:                               100,000

 Share price paid per share (p):                                    498.30

 Following this transaction the company has:

 Issued ordinary share capital:                                     428,756,680

 Ordinary shares held in Treasury, which attract no voting rights:  61,800,417

 Total number of voting rights in the Company:                      366,956,263
