Aussie tech stocks follow Wall St declines, set for worst day in over 3 weeks

** Aussie technology stocks  .AXIJ  fall as much as 2.8%,
set for worst day since Aug. 25, if losses hold
    ** AXIJ tracks losses in Wall Street indices, which ended
sharply lower on Friday as chipmakers and megacap growth
companies dropped  .N 
    ** Software co Xero  XRO.AX  slumps as much as 4.1% to its
lowest since late August
    ** WiseTech Global  WTC.AX  and Altium  ALU.AX  slide as
much as 2.9% and 2.7, respectively
    ** The sub-index is the top percentage loser on the
benchmark index 
    ** As of last close, AXIJ up 30.5% this year, compared with
a 3.4% rise in the benchmark index  .AXJO
