Aussie tech stocks hit over 2-month high on Wall Street rally

** Australian tech stocks  .AXIJ  climb as much as 2.6% to
their highest since Sept. 15  
    ** Local tech stocks tracked sharp overnight gains on Wall
Street after U.S. Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell, said
that the central bank might dial down on the pace of rate hikes
as early as December   .N 
    ** ASX-listed shares of Block Inc  SQ2.AX  climb 6.9% to
lead gains on the index, followed by a 5.6% rise in Xero
 XRO.AX  
    ** Altium  ALU.AX  shares advance 3.2%, while Wisetech
Global  WTC.AX  is up 1.8% 
    ** Index eyes best day since Nov. 11, if gains hold, and is
on track for a third consecutive session of gain  
    ** AXIJ is down 30.4% this year, as of last close
