Aussie tech stocks rally for third day on Wall Street strength

** Australia's tech stocks  .AXIJ  jump as much as 3.7%,
extending gains for third straight session 
    ** Sub-index is the top boost to the benchmark  .AXJO  index
    ** AXIJ track overnight gain in its U.S peer Nasdaq  .IXIC 
which posted its best one-day gain since March 2021  .N 
    ** Software firm Xero  XRO.AX  and electronics design
software maker Altium  ALU.AX  advance as much as 4.4% and 3.5%,
respectively
    ** Topping the index Appen Ltd  APX.AX  up as much as 7.2% 
    ** U.S.-based Block Inc  SQ.N  completed acquisition of
sector darling Afterpay  APT.AX  and launched its first
integration with Afterpay's BNPL system, allowing sellers on
Square to offer BNPL to customers for e-commerce in U.S. and

    ** As of last close, AXIJ down 18.4% this year vs the
benchmark ASX 200 index's  .AXJO  6.4% decline
