Australian tech stocks rise tracking Wall Street gains

** Australia's technology stocks sub-index  .AXIJ  up 0.3%,
paring back gains of 1.2% earlier in the session
    ** The sub-index tracked positive lead-in from Wall Street
as growing hopes that the U.S. central bank will begin cutting
interest rates as soon as March improved risk appetite  .N 
    ** ASX-listed shares of Block  SQ2.AX  and WiseTech Global
 WTC.AX  advance 0.8% each
    ** Shares of software firm Altium  ALU.AX  up 1.2%, set for
their best day in 2 weeks
    ** The sub-index has risen 29.8% this year, including
session's gains
