Australian tech stocks track U.S. peers to mark best day in over 3 months

** Australia's technology stocks  .AXIJ  jump as much as
3.9%, posts its best session since Oct. 14 
    ** The sub-index tracks overnight gains in U.S. peers which
tip-toed between corporate earnings, geopolitical tensions, and
aggressive U.S. Federal Reserve stand  .N 
    ** Software firm Xero Ltd  XRO.AX  rise as much as 3.6%
while electronics design software maker Altium  ALU.AX  up as
much as 3.7%
    ** AXIJ down 21.3% this year as of last close, compared with
the benchmark  .AXJO  index's 6.1% decline
