Description: The FTSE opened more than 1 percent lower following two days of
strong gains, after the UK reported its highest number of coronavirus related
deaths on Tuesday. Tesco said the tally from higher costs and wages due to the
coronavirus could reach £925, but said tax relief could mitigate all of the
costs.
