U.S. stock indexes dipped on Monday, led by losses in shares of Amazon and
technology companies, as investors awaited quarterly reports from a host of
marquee names to gauge the impact of an escalating trade conflict between the
United States and China.  .N

at 25,042.16. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.04 percent at 2,800.61 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.23 percent at 7,801.889.
