Oct 28 (Reuters) - ** Shares in Amundi AMUN.PA fall 5% following a media report that UniCredit CRDI.MI plans to withdraw client funds from the French asset manager

** Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter, that UniCredit is rapidly cutting the amount of client money it invests through Amundi and wants to reduce the level to almost zero in less than two years

** Stock heading for worst day since end-July
