Asset manager ICG rises on robust interim results, Amundi partnership

** Shares of asset manager ICG ICGIN.L up 7.9% at 2040p, top gainers across London stocks

** ICG's first-half PBT surges 77.7% to 352 million pounds  ($463.62 million), while AUM up 14% at 124 billion pounds for the six-month period ended September 30

** European asset manager Amundi AMUN.PA to take a 9.9% stake in ICG for an undisclosed amount

** Based on ICG's market capitalisation on Monday, the stake would be worth around 550 million pounds and make Amundi the British company's largest shareholder

** YTD, stock had fallen 8.57%
