Response in relation to the announcement on 17 August 2023 of

ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust plc

A subsidiary of ThomasLloyd Group Limited ("TLG"), ThomasLloyd Global Asset
Management (Americas) LLC, (the Company's "Investment Manager"), together with
TLG, has published an announcement to request that the directors of
ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust plc desist from issuing public announcements
and desist from continuing this public debate.

Furthermore, TLG has restated its position on the Continuation Vote that
shareholders should

-       vote IN FAVOUR of the resolutions at the requisitioned general
meeting of the Company to be held on 24 August 2023; and

-       vote IN FAVOUR of the resolutions at the reconvened general
meeting of the Company to be held on 24 August 2023,

therefore voting IN FAVOUR of the continuation of ThomasLloyd Energy Impact
Trust plc.
