Australia's AusCann up on initial talks with U.S. FDA for dog medicine

** Medicinal cannabis firm AusCann Group Holings  AC8.AX 
rises 4.8% to A$0.087, biggest rise since Nov 19
    ** AC8 says it held talks with the U.S. FDA for Veterinary
Centre (FDA-CVM) for its medicine aimed at managing pain and

    ** Says the FDA-CVM told the company its development program
for CPAT-01, the medicine, is "consistent with its expectations"
    ** Adds that formal guidance will be given in 45 days, which
will move the approval process along
