Australia's Auscann Group jumps on deal with Tasmanian Department of Health

** Shares of Auscann Group  AC8.AX  jump as much as 11.1% to
A$0.110, their biggest intraday percentage gain since Feb. 10
    ** The medical marijuana producer enters into an agreement
to supply pharmaceutical cannabis products for the Tasmanian

    ** Says agreement follows a successful bid in response to a
Request for Tender issued by the Department of Health 
    ** AC8 says awarded products to be made available for
supply, subject to the receipt of official purchase orders
    ** More than 1.8 mln shares change hands, vs the 30-day
average volume of ~985,900 shares
    ** Stock has fallen 49.2% this year, as of last close
