Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director and update on Director Roles
and Responsibilities

 

FBD Holdings plc ("FBD") and FBD Insurance plc today announces the appointment
of Mr Colm McGrattan as an Independent Non-Executive Director of both FBD
Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc with immediate effect. Mr McGrattan has
also been appointed as a Member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees of
each company.

 

Mr McGrattan is an accomplished general insurance executive, with experience
at Board level in leading insurer and broker companies. He spent a significant
part of his career in a number of senior management roles at AXA Insurance,
including Executive Director and Board Member of AXA Insurance DAC. He is a
chartered director with the Institute of Directors and has significant
commercial experience in the financial services environment.

 

FBD Chair, Jim Bergin, said:

Ms Sylvia Cronin, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of FBD Holdings
plc and FBD Insurance plc, has retired as a member of the Audit Committee of
FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc with immediate effect.

 

This announcement is made in accordance with Rule 6.1.5 of the Euronext Dublin
Listing Rules. The Group confirms that there are no other matters requiring
disclosure under Rule 6.1.7 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules.
