Appointment of Director

 

The Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Talbut as a
non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 2 March 2026.

 

Since 2015 Robert has undertaken a wide range of non-executive roles covering
investment trusts, investment management, pensions, insurance and charities.
 He is currently the Chair of JPMorgan American Investment Trust plc, the
Senior Independent Director of Pacific Assets Trust plc and the Chair of the
M&G With-Profits Committee.

 

Prior to this he enjoyed a 30-year executive career in asset management the
last ten years of which were as the Chief Investment Officer of Royal London
Asset Management. During this time he represented the industry through the
chairmanship of both the ABI Investment Committee and the Asset Management
Committee of the Investment Association.

 

There is no further information required to be disclosed under Listing Rule
6.4.8.

The appointment of Mr Talbut falls to be ratified by Shareholders at the
Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in December 2026.
