Baillie Gifford UK Growth Trust plc's capital consists of 160,917,184 ordinary
shares. Baillie Gifford UK Growth Trust plc holds 28,160,476 ordinary shares
in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Baillie Gifford
UK Growth Trust plc is 132,756,708.

The above figure (132,756,708) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Baillie Gifford UK
