Saba Capital Encourages New Nominees to the Board of Directors at Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust PLC to Provide Full Liquidity Event for Shareholders, If Elected
Saba Capital Management, L.P. (together with certain of its affiliates, "Saba"), the largest shareholder of Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust PLC (USA:LSE) ("USA" or the "Company"), today announced that it put forward three new highly qualified directors for election at the Company's upcoming Annual General Meeting: Jason Chen, Thomas H. McGlade and James Waterlow. Saba also issued a statement regarding its recommendation that, if elected, the nominees offer the Company's shareholders a full cash exit at or near net asset value.
