MADRID, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Spain's Sabadell SABE.MC said on Friday its fourth-quarter net profit fell 27.4% from the same period in 2024 due to lower lending income and the impact from a banking tax.
The country's fourth-largest bank in terms of market value reported a net profit of 386 million euros ($455.06 million) in the October to December period compared to 532 million euros in the same period last year.
Analysts polled by Reuters expected a net profit of 383 million euros.
