Polish regulator says verdict on FX loans negative for banks, economy
WARSAW, June 15 (Reuters) - Polish banking regulator KNF
said on Thursday EU's top court's verdict on foreign currency
mortgage loans is negative for the Polish banking sector and
economy.
The court on Thursday backed Polish borrowers with Swiss
franc-denominated mortgages in a long-running case that KNF has
earlier warned could cost the country's banks 100 billion
zlotys.
