GDANSK, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Poland's second biggest-lender Bank Pekao PEO.WA reported a 4.2% year-on-year rise in its third-quarter profit on Thursday, helped by higher sales of loans and stronger net interest income.
The bank posted a net profit of 1.91 billion zlotys ($525.23 million) for the quarter, beating the 1.85 billion estimate seen in consensus it had compiled.
