India's BMW Ventures drops 25.2% in trading debut

** Shares of BMW Ventures BMWV.NS drop to exchange-allowed maximum of 74.10 rupees, down 25.2% from IPO price, in their trading debut

** BMWV valued at 6.43 bln rupees ($72.5 mln) as of 13:43 IST

** Co is in distribution of steel products and tractor engines and spare parts, manufacturing of PVC pipes and roll forming, and fabrication of pre-engineered buildings and steel girders

** BMWV's 2.32 bln rupee IPO, comprising entirely an issue of fresh shares, was subscribed 1.5x

** Funds from IPO to be used for debt repayment and other corporate purposes
