Australia's Bod Science sees worst day in 3 years on discounted placement

** Shares of Bod Science Ltd  BOD.AX  slump as much as 21.8%
to A$0.086, seeing their worst day since March 2, 2020 if losses
hold  
    ** The drug retailer says it has received firm commitments 
for A$1.9 mln ($1.24 mln) placement 
    ** Says proceeds will be used for research and development
and working capital 
    ** Issue price of A$0.08 per share at a ~27.3% discount to
last close on July 31 
    ** Shares hit lowest level since July 12 
    ** Stock had fallen ~26.7% this year, as of last close
    
($1 = 1.5284 Australian dollars)
