   Italy is preparing a compensation scheme, expected to be
approved this week, to help construction firms working in public
projects cope with a rise in prices of raw materials, a draft

    Italy will extend until October a ban on firings beyond its
current deadline of end-June for workers employed in textile,

    Italy's no.2 bank received a rapturous welcome to the green
bond market on Monday as it pulled in more than 3.25 billion
euros of orders to a one billion eight-year non-call seven

    Italian Serie A club Juventus has sounded out banks as it
considers a capital increase among options to boost its
pandemic-stricken finances, two sources close to the matter said
on Monday. The club's financial needs might be in the range of
300-400 million euros ($356-$477 million), the sources said.

    The Italian government plans to replace bankrupt Alitalia
with a new, state-owned carrier dubbed ITA in October, according
to a source close to the matter.

    The company said on Monday it started a share capital
increase through a private placement procedure, adding the aim
of the transaction was to place new shares worth 6.67% of its
