BrandShield Contract Win in Cosmetics Sector

 

BrandShield Systems plc (AIM: BRSD), a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions from brand protection to online threat hunting, is pleased to announce that it has completed a contract with a customer in the personal care industry.  This has added to a growing number of customers in that industry that have subscribed to BrandShield's SaaS based threat hunting solution in 2021.

 

The customer is one of a fast growing number of small and medium enterprises ("SMEs") who are identifying the need to source online brand protection solutions as they seek to grow through online channels such as Tik Tok and Instagram.  A huge amount of early-stage brands are focusing on social media channels and rely almost exclusively on exposure on social media networks to raise brand awareness. Consequently, they become most at risk from fraudulent activity seeking to divert customers to counterfeit products or impersonation presences.
