U.S. stocks edged lower on Thursday, weighed down by weak earnings from a
handful of companies and after a U.S.-North Korea summit ended abruptly without
a deal.  .N 
    At 10:19 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.05 percent
at 25,971.23. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.16 percent at 2,787.79 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.32 percent at 7,529.957.
