John Cresswell appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Capita plc

Capita plc ('Capita') announces the appointment of John Cresswell as an
Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 December 2015. John will
be appointed to the Nomination, Remuneration (as Chair) and Audit and Risk
Committees on appointment.


John has substantial experience leading, growing and advising media and
broadcast organisations at CEO and Executive director levels and has worked in
the TMT sector for 25 years.

John is a Chartered Accountant, has a BSc in Economics and Politics, and
attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Most recently he served four and a half years as CEO of Arqiva; previous to
that he held a number of executive director roles on the board of ITV plc, and
was formerly a director of Liverpool Football and Athletic Grounds plc and a
director of Ambassador Theatre Group. John has also been a member of Business
in the Community,
