Notes
The framework: The services that can be procured through the framework, and
which Capita will deliver in England, encompass a range of core administrative
functions for GPs, opticians, pharmacists and dentists. They include services
such as payments administration, management of movement of medical records and
eligibility lists for practitioners. There is also scope under the framework to
develop and deliver other support service activities that will add value to
primary care professionals. Primary care contractors and healthcare
commissioners across the UK (England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Isle
of Man, Guernsey and Jersey) can take advantage of the new framework. In
England the management of primary care support services transferred to NHS
England in 2013 and are currently delivered by a mixture of public and private
sector employees

NHS and healthcare organisations, including 95% of NHS trusts. Some 3,000

corporate services for Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH).
