Carillionsigns90 million contract for residential development in London
Following Carillion's appointment by HUB earlier in the year as the preferred bidder for its Hoola Londonproject, a developmentin London's Royal Docks, Carillion has now signed a 90 million contract with HUB to deliver this development. 
The contract involves the design and construction of one 24 storey tower and one 23 storey tower, providing 360 residential apartments and one commercial unit. It will have particularly strong environmental features including blue roofs,which have beendeveloped to manage surface water run-off and storageand energy sharing agreements to provide district heating. Work will commence on site immediately and is scheduled for completion by the Autumn of 2016.
As the leading trainer of apprentices in its sector, Carillion willuse this project to create40new apprenticeships.
