French and Benelux stocks-Factors to watch

Jan 18 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on
the region's markets or individual stocks.
    
    ARGENX  ARGX.BR :
    Argenx announced having received an approval of VYVDURA
injection for subcutaneous use in Japan for generalized
myasthenia gravis.
    
    CARMAT  ALCAR.PA :
    The French artificial heart maker announced the launch of a
capital increase, with an initial amount of 15 million euros,
which should finance the group's activities till early May 2024.
Carmat estimated it needs 65 million euros in financing to run
its activities over the next 12 months.
    
    GAZTRANSPORT ET TECHNIGAZ  GTT.PA :
    France's GTT said it had received an order from Hyundai
Heavy Industries  329180.KS  to design tanks for three new
ethane carriers.
    
    ORANGE  ORAN.PA :
    French telecoms group Orange and Spanish rival MasMovil are
set to gain conditional EU antitrust approval for their Spanish
tie-up, two people with direct knowledge of the matter said.
    
    SEMICONDUCTORS AND SUPPLIERS:
    The sector is to be watched in Europe after Taiwanese
chipmaker TSMC  2330.TW  posted a 19% drop in fourth-quarter net
profit on Thursday as global economic woes hit demand for chips
used in applications from cars to cellphones and servers, but
still beat market forecasts.
    
    VIRBAC  VIRB.PA :
    The French veterinarian pharmaceutical firm reported a 9.1%
increase in its forth-quarter revenue, amounting to 321.7
million euros ($350.49 million). It also confirmed its EBIT
adjusted ratio target of 20% by 2030.
