Brief: China Investment Fund updates on trading halt with effect from 1 April 2016

March 29 (Reuters) - China Investment Fund Co Ltd  0612.HK : 
 * 1) delay in annual results for the year ended 31 December 2015; and (2) 
   trading halt with effect from 1 April 2016  0612.HK  
 * Anticipated that trading in shares of company will be halted with effect from 
   9:00 a.m. on 1 April 2016 
 * Informed by its auditors that it would like to review report compiled by the 
   independent accounting firm as a result of the investigation into the 
   incident 
 * Company has been given to understand by the sic that the sic investigation 
   report is still being compiled 
 * Review in order to satisfy itself that there is nothing in sic investigation 
   report that would have a material impact on its audit work 
 * Anticipates that it will not be able to issue the annual results of the group 
   for the year ended 31 December 2015
