Wall Street's main indexes slipped in choppy trading on Thursday as technology
and growth stocks struggled for direction amid rising bond yields and weaker
risk appetite on concerns around surging inflation and aggressive interest rate
hikes.  .N 
    
    At 11:49 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.46% at
32,759.81. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.57% at 4,092.31 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.62% at 12,011.47.
