 Subscription Shares cancellation

 

The Board of CC Japan Income & Growth Trust plc announces that, further to
the announcement of 9 February 2023 relating to the suspension of the listing
of the Subscription Shares, the Company's Subscription Share listing (TIDM:
CCJS; ISIN: GB00BM90B010) was cancelled from 8.00 a.m. today.

In accordance with the details set out in the prospectus published on 22
January 2021 (the "Prospectus"), the unexercised Subscription Share Rights
attaching to the 26,946,122 Subscription Shares have now lapsed and such
Subscription Shares have been reclassified as Deferred Shares in accordance
with the Company's Articles of Association. The Deferred Shares will be
repurchased by the Company for a nominal consideration and cancelled.

Capitalised terms used but not defined in this announcement have the meanings
given to them in the Prospectus.
