Convening of 2023 Third Quarter Results Presentation

China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd.  (the "Company" or "CPIC") will
disclose its 2023 third quarter report on 27 October 2023. The full text of
the Company's 2023 third quarter report will be submitted to the National
Storage Mechanism on 27 August 2023 and be available for inspection at
https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism. A copy will also be
available on 27 August 2023 on the Company's website
at http://www.cpic.com.cn/gdr/gdrggen/ (http://www.cpic.com.cn/gdr/gdrggen/)

The Company will convene the 2023 third quarter results presentation from
16:30 to 17:30 on 30 October 2023 (Beijing time, same below) in order to help
investors obtain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the
Company's 2023 third quarter results and operating position and answer
questions of general concerns to investors. Mr. FU Fan (President), relevant
senior management  and independent non-executive directors of the Company
will be present at the results presentation. Investors may dial (0086)
