Approval of Appointment Qualification of Chairman of a Subsidiary

Reference is made to the announcement of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co.,
Ltd. (the "Company") dated 21 March 2025, in relation to change of chairman of
a subsidiary (the "Announcement"). As considered and approved by the board
meeting of China Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd. ("CPIC P/C"), a
subsidiary of the Company, it was agreed to elect Mr. YU Bin as the chairman
of the eighth session of the board of directors of CPIC P/C. The appointment
qualification of Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of CPIC P/C is subject to approval
by the regulatory authorities.

 

The Company is pleased to announce that, CPIC P/C has recently received the
"Approval of Appointment Qualification of Mr.YU Bin as the Chairman of China
Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd." (Jin Fu  2025  No. 337) issued by the
National Financial Regulatory Administration (the "NFRA"). The NFRA has
approved the appointment qualification of Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of CPIC
P/C. The term of office of Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of CPIC P/C became
effective on 4 June 2025.
