Notice of the EGM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the second extraordinary general meeting ("EGM" or
"Extraordinary General Meeting") for the year 2024 of China Pacific Insurance
(Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") will be held at China Pacific Insurance
(Group) Co., Ltd., 201 Tianlin Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai at 2:30 p.m. on
Monday, 14 October 2024, (Beijing Time), for the purpose of considering, and
if thought fit, passing the following resolution.

AS ORDINARY RESOLUTION:

1. To consider and approve the election of Ms. CHEN Xin as an Independent
Non-executive Director of the tenth session of the Board of Directors.
