Japan's top power generator JERA to buy US shale gas assets for $1.5 billion
TOKYO, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Japan's top power generator JERA will acquire natural gas production assets in the U.S. from GEP Haynesville II for $1.5 billion, it said on Thursday. GEP Haynesville II is a joint venture between GeoSouthern Energy, backed by Blackstone BX.N, and pipeline operator Williams Companies WMB.N.
