Cineworld jumps after report of Vue considering bid

** Shares of British cinema operator Cineworld  CINE.L 
surge 20% to 5.1p
    ** CINE top pct gainer across London stock indexes 
    ** Sky News reports that cinema operator Vue International,
with support from two funds, would be among the bidders for
Cineworld
    ** Vue has lined up backing from shareholders Barings and
Farallon Capital Management, according to the report
    ** Our focus at Vue remains on managing the strong recovery
we are seeing in our business - Vue spokesperson to Reuters 
    ** Vue spokesperson adds that while it would be premature to
speculate about any acquisitions at this stage, Vue continually
evaluates a range of possible opportunities
    ** Cineworld's shares hit highest level since Dec 2     
    ** Stock set for best day since Nov 2
