DATA
Poland's statistics office to release employment, industrial
output, PPI and corporate sector wages data at 0800.
SANCTIONS
This year Polish customs really started pursuing firms who
were evading sanctions and doing business with Russia and
Belarus and they have imposed almost 21 million zlotys ($5.35
million) in fines, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
BELARUS BORDER
Minsk has invited Poland's representatives for talks about
the situation on the Polish-Belarus border, Rzeczpospolita
reported.
COMARCH
The offer by the Filipiak family and CVC for Comarch
CMR.WA shares shows the potential of Polish IT companies,
whose valuations are still lower than their foreign competitors,
Parkiet daily reported.
TRAVEL AGENTS
This year up to 5 million Poles could go on a package
holiday booked through a travel agent, compared to 4.1 million
in 2023, Puls Biznesu reported.
