Aug 1 (Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Friday. Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot vouch for their accuracy: IBERDROLA IBE.MC, COX COXGA.MC Spanish water and renewable energy company Cox has agreed to buy Iberdrola's assets in Mexico in a deal valuing the business at $4.2 billion including debt, the companies said on Thursday. CELLNEX CLNX.MC Spain's Cellnex, Europe's largest mobile phone tower operator, said on Thursday its adjusted first-half core earnings rose 1.7% to 1.6 billion euros ($1.83 billion) and its net loss narrowed by almost three fourth from a year ago. TELEFONICA TEF.MC Telefonica has picked Chinese telecommunications company Huawei as the main supplier for its corporate customer billing system, Spanish news website el Confidencial reported on Friday, citing unidentified sources close to the company.
