ZURICH/BERLIN, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Here are some of the main
factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Monday:
SWISS-EU TIES
Swiss voters overwhelmingly rejected a right-wing party's
attempt to scrap a pact allowing the free movement of people
from the European Union, opting for stability amid the economic

Additionally, Swiss voters backed the government's plan to
spend up to 6 billion Swiss francs on new fighter jets in a
surprisingly close referendum that was won with a 50.2% majority

CORONAVIRUS
The global death toll from COVID-19 could double to 2
million before a successful vaccine is widely used and could be
even higher without concerted action to curb the pandemic, a WHO
official said.
The WHO supported China's campaign to vaccinate certain
people against coronavirus in July while clinical trials were
still under way, a Chinese health official said, although some

Chinese stocks drove Asian markets higher, though sentiment
