Daimler Truck has applied for U.S. tariff relief, CFO says

May 6 (Reuters) - Daimler Truck DTGGe.DE has applied for tariff relief under the U.S. content programme, Chief Financial Officer Eva Scherer said on Wednesday, adding that the company has not yet received a response.

"We have applied for that relief with the U.S. administration but we have not heard back," she said on a conference call after presenting first-quarter results that showed operating profit more than halved.
