ECONOMY
ISTAT releases September foreign trade data (0900 GMT).
DEBT
Italy sold 7.27 billion euros ($7.57 billion) of its latest
BTP Italia inflation-linked bond due in November 2028 in the
three days of a retail offering, data by Italy's bourse showed
on Wednesday.
Treasury holds offer of 6-year new BTP Italia bond reserved
to institutional investors.

TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
The former Italian telecoms monopolist said on Wednesday
that Frank Cadoret, one of two board members representing top
investor Vivendi VIV.PA , resigned from the post, giving no
reasons for the decision.
ENEL ENEI.MI
Italian utility Enel is ready to support its Spanish unit
Endesa ELE.MC with a credit line and guarantees worth in
aggregate up to 5 billion euros ($5.2 billion) to help it cope
with highly volatile energy markets, documents showed on
Wednesday.
