1.       Unaudited net asset value per share
 
The unaudited net asset value per share at 31 March 2021 was 428.1p (413.9p at 31/12/20). This represents a total return per share of 3.4% during the quarter.  
 
2.       Share price
 
The share price has increased by from 336p to 342p in the quarter to 31 March 2021. The share price total return for the quarter to 31 March 2021 was 1.8%.  This compares to an increase in the FTSE Small Cap Index of 15.6% over the same period.   The discount to net asset value at 31 March 2021 was 20.1%.

4.       Net asset value movements
 
The portfolio of investments has been re-valued at 31 March 2021. The increase in net asset value in the quarter can be attributed to valuation increases at Red (£2.7m), UPOL (£1.7m) and CitySprint (£0.3m) offset by valuation reductions at FRA (£2.0m) and Weldex (£0.7m).
 
5.       Cash and Commitments
 
Dunedin Enterprise had cash and near cash balances of £19.6m at 31 March 2021.  Outstanding capital commitments to limited partnership funds are £11.6m.
 
 
 
6.         Dividend
 
A final dividend of 2.0p per share will be paid to shareholders on 19 May 2021.
