US investor Saba blocks Baillie Gifford and Edinburgh merger

Dec 2 (Reuters) - Britain's Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust USAB.L said on Tuesday that the company's proposed merger with peer Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust EWI.L has been blocked by U.S. activist investor Saba Capital Management, its top shareholder.
