Strike expected at French utility EDF next Thursday
PARIS, Sept 26 (Reuters) - French nuclear operator EDF said on Friday it had received notice of a labour strike to be held from late on October 1 through to October 2 as part of a nationwide protest. Recent strikes have reduced power supply in the country but the effect has been minimal as France has been a net power exporter during the industrial actions.
