UK bookmaker stocks fall after government hints at tax hikes

** Shares of London-listed bookmakers dip as UK government considers raising taxes on gambling firms

   ** Finance Minister Rachel Reeves told ITV News on Monday that there is a case for gambling firms to pay more taxes

   ** Earlier this month, more than a hundred Labour MPs called to hike taxes on gambling firms, citing lower taxes vs other jurisdictions

   ** Betting firm Evoke EVOK.L falls 1.9%, among top losers on London's small-caps index .FTSC, which is down 0.11%

** Entain ENT.L down 1.08%, Playtech  PTEC.L down 0.94% and Flutter FLTRF.L down 0.24%
