** Restaurant chains with high exposure to the southeast U.S.
coast, including Fiesta Restaurant Group FRGI.O , Papa John's
PZZA.O and Wendy's WEN.O could see a limited mid-week impact
from Hurricane Dorian, according to Maxim Group equity research
** As Dorian moves up near the East Coast and potentially
causes high winds and flooding, quick service and fast casual
restaurants could see a sales impact, although any loss should
be at least partly made back on the following weekend, Maxim
analyst Stephen Anderson writes in a client note
** Restaurants that rely heavily on food deliveries,
including Domino's Pizza DPZ.N and Papa John’s, tend to see
outsized sales during recovery periods after hurricanes,
Anderson also wrote
** FRGI last down 1%, PZZA up 3.5, WEN up 1.8%, DPZ up 5.8%
