U.S. stock indexes rose on Thursday as a moderation in producer price inflation
and jump in weekly jobless claims brought relief to investors worried about how
far the Federal Reserve will hike interest rates to tame surging prices.  .N 
    
    At 11.31 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.47% at
33,805.92. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.65% at 4,118.67 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.33% at 12,087.95.
