Finnair not involved in AirBaltic transaction process, CEO says Sept 24 (Reuters) - Finnair has not been involved in any process related to a potential transaction involving Latvian airline airBaltic, the CEO of the Finnish carrier said on Thursday.
"I don't want to speculate when it comes to different events in the market. But as said, our strategy is built on being standalone and then complementing our position with the partnerships," CEO Turkka Kuusisto told Reuters.
AirBaltic filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the US bankruptcy code in New York earlier this month.
